"Luke, are you above the law?"
"Yes. I'm Sarah Palin."
Some of my favorite parenting moments come when Luke comes with a seemingly out of the blue response or comment that has truth on levels far beyond what we expect from a three-year-old. I wish I could capture them all.

Ek-ma-most - Luke Word of the Week 4-20-08
Ek-ma-most - n. Eskimos
This word shot to the top of the list for the week as Luke out of nowhere pointed to our calendar of Inupiat values and said "Ek-ma-most." Also used in the song, "One little, two little, three little Eskimos" as taught to him by a prominent Inupiat woman on the plane ride back to Barrow last week.
